ST. LOUIS . . . Mityvac has introduced its new Model MVA7607 Locking Hose Clamp. Designed for use in vehicle service applications, the clamp secures flexible hoses during automotive diagnostics and repairs.

The MVA7607 is 8 inches (200 mm) in length with angled jaws to access hard-to-reach vehicle hoses. The jaws extend to securely clamp hoses up to 1-1/4 inches (30 mm) in diameter and can apply up 50 pounds (23 kg) of force.

The lightweight hose clamp is molded from durable, non-marring, glass-filled nylon that is resistant to oil and other common automotive fluids and chemicals. The MVA7607’s jaws have rounded edges that won’t cut hoses, and the large, comfortable grips have non-slip ribs and finger guards. In addition, the tool features a unique, quick-release locking mechanism that secures the jaws in any position and releases them by activating an easy-to-reach lever.
