SKF offers new freight line lubricators

Gothenburg, February 2016:  SKF today announced the introduction of its new Lincoln-branded freight line lubricators. Developed to meet the needs of Class 1 railroad applications, these lubricators are efficient, robust and easy to maintain.

This wayside lubrication system features a rust-proof, polyethylene reservoir with a unique, dual-tank design to reduce the risk of trackside spills. Its proven, high-pressure, self-cleaning applicator bars provide precise and even distribution of a wide range of materials. The system is equipped with an oversized, 190-watt solar panel that is mounted on square tubing with breakaway bolts for security. The panel is easy to install and provides power even in low-light conditions.

The lubricator’s bar and wheel sensor clamps feature a slotted shim design for simple adjustment, and its “brick” magnetic wheel sensor has a quick disconnect and armored cable for added protection. The freight line lubricators are manufactured in the United States with local parts and service support.
